Salt Lake 9, Medicine Hat 6
MEDICINE HAT – Doing most of the damage in a five-run sixth inning, the streaking Trappers won their eighth game in a row with a 9-6 victory at Medicine Hat. The Trappers punched out six straight singles in the decisive inning. Mike Malinak, Adam Casillas and Steve Scott each had three hits to lead Salt Lake. Trapper starter Kent Hetrick got the victory to up his record to 3-1, while Tim Peters notched his second save.
