Salt Lake 9, Great Falls 5
GREAT FALLS – Frank Colston lashed a pinch-hit, bases loaded single to a key a ninth inning rally that led the Trappers to a 9-5 victory. Great Falls grabbed an early 3-0 lead, but Salt Lake roared back with a three-run fifth as Mike Malinak doubled in one run, Ed Citronelli tripled in another and Steve Scott chipped in an RBI sacrifice fly to tie the game. Both teams traded two run rallies in the seventh.
Neil Reynolds drew a bases loaded walk to begin the decisive ninth. Colston followed with his pinch hit single and Adam Casillas added another one-run single to put it out of reach.
