MEDICINE HAT – Koichi Ikeue mystified the Medicine Hat Blue Jays on six singles through eight innings and Tim Peters finished up with a hitless ninth inning to deliver a 3-0 victory. Ikeue, winning his second game against no losses, struck out nine and did not walk a batter. Salt Lake received three hits from catcher Ed Citronnelli, who had an RBI and scored once, while scoring single runs in the third, fourth, and eighth innings. The Trappers got two hits each from Jon Leake, Neil Reynolds, and Frank Colston.
